Single Port Surgery

RealHand HD instruments uniquely enable the surgeon to reduce thenumber of trocars for surgery. RealHand facilitates single port laparoscopyby allowing triangulation of the instruments even after they are introducedin the same entry point. Single port access Lap Nephrectomies and Prostatectomies are currently being performed entirely through the umbilicus. For the patient, this approach mayyield less post-op pain, a reduced chance of infection or ventral hernia andbetter cosmetic results.
